The San Diego PPRU is the combined effort of two facilities: the Children's Hospital of San Diego, with over 10,000 inpatient admissions and over 90,000 outpatient visits each year and the University of California, San Diego, has 3,700 pediatric inpatient admissions and 60,000 outpatient visits annually.
